We are recruiting: we are hiring a dogger in Pike County, Ohio. You will be based at a busy construction site. The role involves carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads. Ideal candidate: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
