Offshore rigger wanted in Dixon County

Now hiring: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Dixon County, Nebraska. You will be based in a steel fabrication yard. Day to day you will rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings. You should have: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
