Now hiring: we are hiring a dogger in Pawnee County, Nebraska. You will work at a power plant. You should have: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather On the job you will handle: • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight Rotating shifts.
