Bricklayer — Gurara

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bricklayer in Gurara, Niger State. You will be based on a scaffolded high-rise site. Ideal candidate: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Day-to-day duties: • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. We offer ₦120,000 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
