CO2 welder wanted in Jasper County

Join our team: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Jasper County, Indiana. You will be based at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. On the job you will handle: • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • ITI in welder trade or equivalent We offer $2,800 per month plus benefits.
