Rebar foreman — Nsit Ubium

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rebar foreman in Nsit Ubium, Akwa Ibom State. You will work at a precast concrete yard. What we are looking for: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates Your main tasks: • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing 5+ years on the tools preferred.
