Immediate opening: we are hiring a roofing foreman in Central Bedfordshire, England. You will be based at a busy roofing firm. Your main tasks: • Strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck • Seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing • Insulate and ventilate the roof void • Torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs • Fix clay and concrete tiles onto the battens • Install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights You should have: • A driving licence is an advantage for site travel • Confident working at height on ladders and scaffolds Overtime paid at a premium rate.
