Immediate opening: we are hiring a roofer in Wilkinson County, Georgia. The role involves set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing; lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling; fix clay and concrete tiles onto the battens; bed and point ridge tiles with mortar; seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing; strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems • 2+ years' hands-on roofing experience • Confident working at height on ladders and scaffolds 6+ years on the tools preferred.
