Argon welding operator — Pittsburg County

Now hiring: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Pittsburg County, Oklahoma. You will be based at an automotive body and exhaust shop. Your main tasks: • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size You should have: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
