Trowel-trade bricklayer — Jackson County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Jackson County, Kentucky. The job is at a residential building site. Day to day you will brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
