Now hiring: we are hiring a baker in Lenoir County, North Carolina. You will work at a neighbourhood confectionery. Ideal candidate: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Accurate at weighing and following recipes On a typical shift you will decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; score the top of loaves before baking; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer. $19 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
