Escalator technician — Jerome County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an escalator technician in Jerome County, Idaho. Day-to-day duties: • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables Requirements: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces Full-time, day shift. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
