Panel technician — Polk County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a panel technician in Polk County, North Carolina. The job is at a commercial fleet workshop. Requirements: • Comfortable working with dust, noise and spray fumes • Own basic hand tools (hammers, dollies, files) • Able to set up and use a frame/jig straightening bench On a typical shift you will mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour; feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray; knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly; straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains; strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair; mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $4,600 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
