Brick and block layer — Jefferson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Jefferson County, Kansas. On the job you will handle: • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go You should have: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
