Join our team: kitchen porter (Kansas)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a kitchen porter in Smith County, Kansas. You will be based in a hospital canteen. The role involves: • Hand-wash pots, pans and trays using the three-sink wash-rinse-sanitise method • Clean, drain and descale the dish machine at the end of each shift • Wash chopping boards, knives and kitchen utensils • Keep the dish pit tidy, dry and slip-free throughout service • Empty bins, take out the rubbish and break down cardboard • Sort, dry and return clean plates and bowls to the kitchen stations Ideal candidate: • Willing to work evenings, weekends and split shifts • Previous experience in a busy commercial kitchen preferred • Keen eye for cleanliness and kitchen hygiene standards At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $4,100 per month plus benefits. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
