Conventional mill operator — Cumberland County

Now hiring: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Cumberland County, New Jersey. You will be based in a CNC machining unit. Day-to-day duties: • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter Requirements: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls 2+ years on the tools preferred.
