Join our team: we are hiring a bricklayer in Fayette County, Texas. You will work at a groundworks and structures site. You should have: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks Your main tasks: • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
