Vertical transportation technician — Todd County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Todd County, South Dakota. The job is in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. Day to day you will test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork. Requirements: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
