Immediate opening: we are hiring a hand presser in Pontotoc County, Oklahoma. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep You will press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics.
