Foundry labourer wanted in Marathon County

Join our team: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Marathon County, Wisconsin. You will work at a busy iron foundry. You should have: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Basic grinding and fettling skills On the job you will handle: • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects Six days a week, one day off.
