Sewing machine operator — Arthur County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Arthur County, Nebraska. You will be based in a sampling and tailoring workshop. You will clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required. You should have: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
