Great opportunity: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Quitman County, Georgia. The role involves: • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
