Vacancy available: we are hiring a stitching operator in Gloucester County, Virginia. You will work at a busy garment factory. Requirements: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus On the job you will handle: • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance We offer $5,000 per month plus benefits.
