Argon welder — Hawaii County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Hawaii County, Hawaii. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. What we are looking for: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage On a typical shift you will back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
