Urgent requirement: we are hiring a carpenter in Pointe Coupee Parish, Louisiana. You should have: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent On a typical shift you will assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours.
