Packing operative — Republic County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a packing operative in Republic County, Kansas. The job is in a food packaging factory. On the job you will handle: • Weigh and portion products before bagging • Record production counts on the shift sheet • Count units and confirm the correct quantity per carton • Seal cartons with a tape gun or hot-melt glue • Inspect packs for leaks, dents or damaged seals • Operate the filling and sealing machine on the line Requirements: • Understanding of basic food hygiene for food packing • Attention to detail for date codes and labelling • Previous experience on a packing or production line Full-time with occasional weekends. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
