Heavy equipment operator — Madison County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Madison County, Illinois. You will work at a road-building project. On the job you will handle: • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles You should have: • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance Meals and transport allowance provided.
