The role involves spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; give each garment a final press before packing; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics. Ideal candidate: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Part-time with flexible hours. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
