Crane rigger • Columbia County, Oregon

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a crane rigger in Columbia County, Oregon. You will be based on an offshore oil and gas platform. Your main tasks: • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller What we are looking for: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles Meals and transport allowance provided.
