We are recruiting: we are hiring a blocklayer in Guadalupe County, New Mexico. Ideal candidate: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets You will spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish.
