We are recruiting: we are hiring a blocklayer in Howard County, Texas. You will be based on a new-build development. The role involves brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser. Ideal candidate: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks Part-time with flexible hours. Contact us to fix an interview.
