Lathe programmer-operator — Pike County

Join our team: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Pike County, Alabama. Your main tasks: • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) What we are looking for: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T Overtime paid at a premium rate.
