Requirements: • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents The role involves dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings; apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork; patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster; clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets; check walls for plumb and level as you go; set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work.
