Lathe operator wanted in Atascosa County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lathe operator in Atascosa County, Texas. Your main tasks: • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers You should have: • Good attention to detail and steady hands • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills 5+ years on the tools preferred.
