Immediate opening: flatlock machine operator (Florida)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Seminole County, Florida. Requirements: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown Day to day you will topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $18 per hour plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
