Join our team: vertical milling machine operator (Virginia)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in City of Harrisonburg, Virginia. The job is in a die and mould making unit. The role involves set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square. You should have: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Able to grind and set HSS cutters Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
