Urgent requirement: machine operator (Illinois)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a machine operator in Putnam County, Illinois. Your main tasks: • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station • Set up and start the machine as per the job card • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges What we are looking for: • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings Overtime paid at a premium rate.
