Now hiring: we are hiring a groundskeeper in Hardin County, Iowa. You will work at a private estate garden. You should have: • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance The role involves rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
