Dispatch rider — Orkney Islands

Immediate opening: we are hiring a dispatch rider in Orkney Islands, Scotland. You will work at an e-commerce last-mile depot. You should have: • Physically fit to ride long hours and lift parcels up to 20 kg • Ability to ride safely in heavy traffic and in monsoon rain • Smartphone with a working data connection for the delivery app Day-to-day duties: • Load and balance parcels safely in the rear carrier box • Keep the delivery bag and box clean and hygienic for food orders • Refuel the bike and log fuel expenses against each run • Plan the fastest route using the delivery app and GPS navigation • Check tyre pressure, brakes, chain tension and engine oil before riding out • Sort failed deliveries and arrange a re-attempt or return to the hub 6+ years on the tools preferred.
