VMC operator — Morrison County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a VMC operator in Morrison County, Minnesota. You will work in a toolroom. On the job you will handle: • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm Requirements: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
