Vacancy available: overlocker operator (West Virginia)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Taylor County, West Virginia. The job is in a textile and apparel unit. Your main tasks: • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation What we are looking for: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
