Immediate opening: we are hiring a pastry baker in Boone County, Kentucky. The role involves: • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
