Urgent requirement: argon welding operator (Oklahoma)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Noble County, Oklahoma. You will work on a structural steel site. What we are looking for: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination Your main tasks: • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer Full-time, day shift.
