Flatlock machine operator • Calabar Municipal, Cross River State

Join our team: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Calabar Municipal, Cross River State. You will work on an export house sewing floor. The role involves: • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line Ideal candidate: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
