Tailor machinist • Meigs County, Tennessee

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Meigs County, Tennessee. You will be based in a textile and apparel unit. You should have: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines On the job you will handle: • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension 6+ years on the tools preferred. $19 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
