Fabrication workshop technician • Newport County, Rhode Island

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Newport County, Rhode Island. The role involves: • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails You should have: • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
