Kitchen porter — Knowsley

Immediate opening: we are hiring a kitchen porter in Knowsley, England. You will scrub out grease traps and clear blocked drains and gullies; load and run the commercial dishwashing machine through wash cycles; scrape leftover food off plates and pre-rinse before loading; polish glasses and cutlery and stack them ready at the pass; keep the dish pit tidy, dry and slip-free throughout service; hand-wash pots, pans and trays using the three-sink wash-rinse-sanitise method. You should have: • Careful handling of cleaning chemicals and degreasers • Previous experience in a busy commercial kitchen preferred At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
