Immediate opening: we are hiring a lathe operator in Howard County, Indiana. On a typical shift you will monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers; carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station. What we are looking for: • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage Part-time with flexible hours.
