Bricklayer — Stevens County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bricklayer in Stevens County, Kansas. The job is on a busy housing site. The role involves installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
