CNC programmer-operator wanted in Worcestershire

We are recruiting: we are hiring a CNC programmer-operator in Worcestershire, England. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. Requirements: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery The role involves deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. We offer £2,900 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
